Our Mission

The educational mission in the Assumption is characterized by a transformative education that always takes place from a context of listening to the needs and concerns of young people, families, the elderly and others, always in the light of the Faith. Faced with the challenges of our world, the Assumption recognizes that loving our time today and collaborating in social transformation according to evangelical values, requires an inescapable commitment to justicepeace, the care of creation and solidarity. This commitment is rooted in biblical sources and in the social doctrine of the Church.

Through diverse cultural realities but in the same desire to be “all in Jesus Christ and the extension of his reign”, “Young Assumption” joins young people who wish to reflect on the issues of faith and put their talents at the service of the Gospel and society. In 1994 we created the Association “Assumption Solidarity”, with the purpose of funding educational projects in the broadest sense, and the General Office of Solidarity for Development, which is its work force. The latter is assisted in its work by Provincial Solidarity Offices, responsible for collecting and presenting projects to it. This space is available so that the resources we are creating in the different Provinces and mission fields of the Congregation can be shared, with communication placed at the service of mission.
